HammerHead The Hammerhead binding is an underfoot cable binding with an open frontload compression spring. Unlike other cable bindings that wrap around the side of the boot, the underfoot design reduces rocker launch, and allows for an adjustable cable pivot point. Depending on whether you are touring, resort riding, or racing, the five way cable pivots are eaily adjustable. Set the pivot in Pos. 1(closest to the front of the boot) and there is very little resistance for easy touring. Set the pivot in Pos. 5(furthest from the front of the boot) and you've got 50+ lbs of active pressure per ski. Pos. 3 and 4 are optimal for all mountain conditions depending on your style. At 3lbs 4ounces, these bindings can tour, but are hefty enough to hold up to any amount of abuse. TwentyTwo Designs was created in February of 2004 by Chris Valiante and Collins Pringle. TwentyTwo Designs took on the responsibilities of producing and distributing the HammerHead Binding from Rainey Designs. Every TwentyTwo Design binding produced is made of the best materials and hand assembled in a sweat shop in Jackson Hole , Wyoming. |
